Given that you get so much spam these days, what's one more email going to do? Signing up to become a member of EastBayRag simply means that you will get an email each week on Monday 8:15am GMT/BST 0:15 PST/PDT that summarizes the changes that have occurred on the site this week. Basically, a summary of blogs added (the title and first few lines of text) and details of the vote of the week.

Registration is required to enter competitions, post on the forums and access restricted content. Access to restricted content is not granted automatically. You will need to reply to your registration confirmation email to request this access.
