Orinda Garden September-November 2008
The photos below are photos I've taken over the last month or so. Mainly macro photos of spiders, but there is a nice red-tailed hawk that I saw when we returned from the trip to Lake Merritt on Thanksgiving. The bird was on top of a tree in another garden so the picture was taken at a fair distance and cropped and therefore isn't the clearest. I initially thought that this was a golden eagle as it's very big, but I'm pretty sure now that it's just a hawk.
