McNabney Marsh November 2008

What can I say about this place? Nice location, but it makes your bum hurt. This marsh had all the promise of affording us a lot of wildlife, but instead it seemed as if the restrooms there had attracted the local cottaging trade. That, and the fact that you can't get very close to the water, meant that this was a very short trip. The only reason I'm including it is that I got a couple of photos of a male and female great-tailed grackle which, although not rare, are the first time I've managed to capture them. There's also a humming bird (pretty sure it's a black-chinned) and some common goldeneye.

Now, where was I? Does one put their foot under the stall to the left or the right? Is it one tap for yes and two for no? Where's a US Senator when you need one? Hey .... When in Rome ....
