Thunderhill NCRC Open August 2020
Well, I'm really only keeping this page as a record of having been. It was actually a really good day as it was my first time back on the track after the COVID shutdown. I'll be honest, there were some great people there today and the track etiquette was awesome - no egos, everyone just there to enjoy being out.
The downside was the excessive heat and the poor air quality due to the fires. The photos show how bad the air quality was. The video .... err, that's my fault - the camera was mounted too far back and it's completely washed out. A pretty easy fix, but I can't go back in time and re-record. The best time I put out was a 2:04 with several laps between 2:05 and 2:07 which isn't too bad given the conditions. I think my PB is currently 2:02, but that wasn't going to get threatened today.
