Las Trampas May 2009

The long weekend arrived and we had high hopes of going out early and having a big picnic in one of the local parks. Unfortunately we forgot to check the weather and woke to fog and cold winds. Rather than a picnic, we decided to go to the pub for lunch. We did have a little bit of time to kill so we went to one of the local parks we've looked at a couple of times - Las Trampas. Very nice walk, but didn't produce that many birds. That said, we did get to add two new ones to the list - Brown Creeper and Ash-Throated Flycatcher. Birds photographed below are:

  • American Crow
  • Ash-Throated Flycatcher
  • Brown Creeper
  • Dark-Eyed Junko
  • Lesser Goldfinch
  • Western Bluebird
