Other Photos From Costa Rica

A couple of odds and ends that Karen asked to be pictured - a sculpture created from the towels in our room in Torteguero and a cricket made from a banana leaf created by our guide in Manuel Antonio. Just goes to show how easily some people are to please!

I think the one thing I should add here is the other quest we had to see all four of the monkeys that live in Costa Rica. We managed three - howler, spider and white-faced, but didn't get to see the squirrel. Although the squirrel monkey is the rarest of the four world-wide, it's probably the easiest to see in Costa Rica. The restaurants in Manuel Antonio feed them so they come out circa 4:30 every day to get the free food (which in turn attracts the tourists). When I say they come out every day, I mean every day of the year except one .... apparently. And that would be the night we were there. I think we can probably say we're the only people to have gone to Manuel Antonio and not seen the squirrel monkey. C'est la vie!
