All being well, I should be mid my France/Monaco/UK trip. (I'm setting this question ahead of time). I did a wander around my garden before I left and my figs are looking like they'll ripen soon. Knowing my luck, they'll ripen as soon as I leave and be overripe and moldy on the floor when I return. Will my figs be good to eat when I return from my trip or will they have over ripened?

Good planning meant I set this question ahead of time so I didn't forget a vote Austin while I was away. Bad planning as I'm not back yet and I've no idea as to the state of my figs. I'll have to post back in the comments.
