This week's focus has been on a car trailer. I'm really excited about getting one, but I've just been reading about towing limits and the Explorer doesn't have the towing capacity the truck had. On top of that, my car is quite heavy. I've calculated that I'll be within the limit, but only just. I certainly wouldn't be able to have four people in the car if I was towing. I think I could get away with two and a small amount of luggage. Should I buy a car trailer?

Analysis:
Alright, so I was all set to buy the car trailer when I realized my new car (the explorer) isn’t rated high enough to tow my car + trailer. It’s close, but not worth the risk. The challenge is that my car is so damn heavy. I could do weight reduction on the car or buy a better towing vehicle, but for now, I’m holding off buying a trailer to make sure I really want one.
