Obviously the thing you want to happen when you're flying around Laguna Seca is a total loss of brakes. That, unfortunately, is what happened to me. Thankfully, I'd decided to come into the pits early and had slowed right down. I did get the car stopped safely without hitting anything which is more than can be said for the Lotus running in William's group that only corked and didn't screw through the corkscrew ending up in the wall with a much shorter car than he started the day with. How many weeks will it be before I can get my car looked at?
