Question:
A vote question I meant to post back in the summer. On the flight either to or from England I watched some film with Will Smith in it and there was a cameo by Khaby Lame. Made me wonder which of the two is more famous. There’s probably a demographic factor that’s going to come into play here, but I’ll ask the question anyway. Who is more famous, Will Smith or Khaby Lame?

Analysis:
Yes, Mr O clearly demonstrating the demographic of this site's voters and also why he picked the name Khaby Lame. It's a tough one. Clearly all the voters went for Will Smith, including myself, but some of that was due to the Chris Rock slap that I think brought Will some more recent recognition in the younger generation. The film was/is Bad Boys: Ride or Die (had to look it up as I'd forgotten). Regardless of what you voted, you've got to be pretty recognizable if all you have to do is walk into the shot, look at the camera, shrug your shoulders and walk off. I guess that's what happens when you have a signature move.

Question:
OK, so I did one of these types of questions before where I'd know the answer before this vote goes live, but I don't know the answer before posting the question. I have been summoned to jury duty and I have to phone up, well, anytime now as of typing this question to see whether I need to go. I'm not exactly sure of the process, but I'm guessing that I phone the number and they will either tell me that I'm good and I don't need to do anything or I'll be told when and where to show up. I could be wrong on this, but I then think I get interviewed to determine if I'll actually be selected. I guess I may find out, but, then again, I may not if I'm not selected. Anyway, will I have to do jury service this week?

Analysis:
I thought I was going to be on a treasure hunt. I called the night before as instructed and the instructions I got were to call again the following day between 11:30 and 12:00 to see if you were needed in the afternoon. This did bother me a little bit as I live at least an hour away from the court and I'm not sure how much lead time they would have given me or if the afternoon started at 2:00. Regardless, the instructions I got at 11:30 were that I was not needed so I'm happy.

Surely anything Musk can do, I can do better so I’m obviously worth at least $1tn given his deal was signed. In all fairness though, I do like the structure of his deal in that he has to be successful to get it.

Interestingly, both the games I’m playing right now are due for major updates this week. Clash on Monday, Borderlands on Thursday. Nowadays, things rarely make it on time. Will the Clash and Borderlands updates be on time this week?

Analysis:
I’m actually surprised as both updates were on time and with very few hiccups. I didn’t see a maintenance break in clash, typical after an update to fix bugs. I think there was one, but I didn’t really see anyone complaining. Borderlands also dropped on time, which is rare for Gearbox and that too seemed to be trouble free. I guess it helps to have low expectations.

Ha ha! I did indeed snag a couple of games in the Black Friday sales. More getting some games I have on Xbox for the PC that I want to play again. I got Halo Master Chief Collection for $10 down from $40 and Borderlands Pandora Collection for $37 down from $150. Pretty pleased with that as it will give me quite a few hours of entertainment.

Analysis:
Congratulations to Seth Manfield for winning his second world title. 10 years apart, but in the same city. Pretty cool. Reminding me of watching Leicester play in the late ‘90s. Izzet Lessons …. Must be Magic!
And for the rest of the people on planet earth, other then myself, there was a rather boring F1 Grand Prix decider which suited Lando Norris who drove a perfect race to bring his car home third which is all he needed to secure the world title. Max was unable to close the points gap, but he did win the final race and won the most races this season. Rule changes and a new team are inbound. I’m hoping 2026 will be an interesting season.

Well, it’s too late now as I went out Monday morning and got it cut. I think writing the question put it top of mind and it was one of those things I just had to get done. While I was out, I also got my Covid and flu shots which made me feel rough the following day. I’ll take 24 hours of rough versus the alternative though.

Question:
William come home this week for Christmas break. He’ll get back around 4am on Thursday. I will be snuggled up in bed with Zaphod, but he scrabbles up as soon as he hears the key in the door. Last time (at Thanksgiving) he was on the duvet, but curled up in my groin area. When William came in he scrabbled at my willy. What part of my body will Zaphod scrabble on when William comes home this week?

Analysis:
I was going to set this question a week earlier, but the return of William prompted a different question. Anyway, yes, I’m pretty sure it was the vindaloo. Vindaloo - shitting yourself into exhaustion then falling asleep only to wake up 15 minutes later with heartburn eating into the back of your neck. Sleep, wake heartburn, sleep, wake dash to shit, sleep …. You get the picture. Finally getting enough sleep to wake up the next day and trying to determine if your arse or throat is burning worse. Still, it tasted great so same again this Tuesday!
