It’s vet time again. Will Zaphod go to the vet quietly?
Yes was the clear winner with 57% of the votes from the following selection:
I was very surprised, but he did go quietly. Didn't even meow once. He wasn't very happy about it and he certainly didn't enjoy it, but he didn't complain about it.

Do you think FIFA want their peace prize back?
Yes was the clear winner with 83% of the votes from the following selection:
Yes, someone has to be regretting that decision. You give someone the peace prize and the next thing they do is invade another country and come up with a list of countries to invade. Still, I'm likely going to get cheap holidays soon and I won't have to worry about currency translation.

It looks like the long weekend (due to Martin Luther King day) has thrown me off what day it is even though I'm retired. I seem to have forgotten yesterday was Sunday and neglected to set a weekly vote question. Do you lose track of which day it is on a long weekend?
Yes was the clear winner with 67% of the votes from the following selection:
It seems strange that I'm retired and it still throws me off. Everyday should be the same as the other. I guess there's things like banks and doctors etc. being shut which is what reminds me that it's a long weekend. I then get into thinking the Monday is a Sunday and it slips my mind to do things like set a vote question. Anyway, I'll remember this week.

A healthy question this week. Are you getting enough fiber (or fibre depending on how you spell it, both ways being acceptable in any country it seems)?
Yes and No tied with 50% of the votes each from the following:
I guess we have a mixed bag when it comes to fiber. I can't remember why I set this question. I think i saw something related to health, but it could have been an add for all bran.

Are you going to buy a wig in case you get into a fight?
No was the clear winner with 75% of the votes from the following selection:
I mean, it's not the worst idea in the world. You gotta think your foe would start laughing. I dont think I'd wear a big yo a professional boxing match though. I suppose it gets you noticed. I'd never heard of Jarrell Miller until his toupee mishap.

After a series of hospital visits, I'm hoping for a clean weekend to knock some things off my to do list. Will I get round to getting solar quotes this week?
Yes was the clear winner with 100% of the votes from the following selection:
You've all put more faith in me than you should have. I procrastinated on this one. In fairness, there's been some fairly serious health issues that have taken priority. Maybe next week.

Both Zaphod and I seem to be struggling right now. How many trips to medical establishments (doctors, vets, labs and pharmacy) will I have you make this week?
5 was the clear winner with 29% of the votes from the following selection:
I feel like I may have tempted fate with this question. I had a scheduled appointment for a scan on Friday and I suspected I would need to go to the pharmacy. I also thought I may need to take Zaphod to the vet. Long story short, my poor boy had fractured his leg. Apparently something male cats are prone to. No sign of injury and the vets (multiple) seem to think he snapped it running or jumping. Anyway, the week ended with 9 visits. 7 vet visits, 1 hospital for scan and 1 pharmacy to pick up some tablets. It's been a trying week to say the least.

Do I really need that last mini ravioli that's stuck in the tin and won't come out no matter how hard I shake it?
Yes was the clear winner with 100% of the votes from the following selection:
Yes, of course I want that last mini ravioli stuck in the tin. I paid for it. It's mine and I'm going to eat it. Yummy!

This week sees the start of the 2026 Formula 1 season and boy did they need fast cars to escape the Middle East. Closer to home, I take my cat to get his stitches removed on Tuesday and I'm hoping that means his cone of shame will be removed. He's not been able to clean himself with the cone on. I've been living with him in my bedroom for two weeks and I decided not to clean myself either (we'll, this month's bath time is not until next week). He's had his litter box in one corner and I've had one in the other. I'm guessing it smells quite bad, but I think we've gotten used to it. Who do you think is the stinkiest between Zaphod and myself?
Rag was the clear winner with 100% of the votes from the following selection:
Yes, it's me isn't it. Well, it's definitely me now as Zaphod's had his collar removed, he's cleaning himself now.

Well, the last night of Zaphod with his cone, he cuddled up next to me in bed and every time he moved, I got twatted in the face with the cone. After removing the cone he's been non stop cleaning himself. He cuddled up next to me in bed and started licking his arse which woke me up with the slurping noise. Would your rather be awoken with a cone to the face or the noise of an arse being licked?
Cone Face was the clear winner with 100% of the votes from the following selection:
You say you'd rather take a cone to the face than listen to the slurping sounds of a cat licking its arse, but you've never taken a cone to the face have you? It's really quite annoying when every time the cat stirs you get boinked. Interestingly enough, he was sleeping tight to me with his cone on - presumably because he felt vulnerable and wanted protecting. Now his cone is off, he's gone back to sleeping where he wants to - sometimes with me, sometimes elsewhere in the house.
