Welcome to the first in the series of I know the answer to this, but I didn't when I set the question. Unlike the fig question that I set and wouldn't know the answer until after I had to write the analysis, this question is being set ahead of time so I can vote, then do the event, have you lot vote and then reveal the answer. Make sense? No? Well, it doesn't matter, here is the question. Having returned to the States after my trip it was time to take the bike out again and try the fated hour loop that has previously resulted in crutches flying off and the video not recording. Being the genius that I am, I devised a new method of adhering the crutches to the bike and to get the video to last the full bike ride. After my bike ride Saturday June 6th, did my crutches remain attached to the bike and did I record the whole trip?
Crutches fail; video success was the clear winner with 33% of the votes from the following selection:
Huzzahs! Both were successful as proven with the supporting video footage. Now, it should be noted that the crutches seemed to be a resounding success, but the video nearly failed due to the fact that it came unplugged shortly after the start and the battery was at 2% when I got back, so any further and it would have failed. That said, it did make it. I have since adjusted the cable management for the camera, but I've not been out on the bike since as I've had rather a difficult week.

A potentially interesting week ahead. What nationality will I be at the end of the week?
American was the clear winner with 53% of the votes from the following selection:
Rather a lot of votes on this one. Interestingly, I got it wrong. I am British American. I didn’t think I’d get to do the oath ceremony at the same time I did my American nationalization interview this past Friday. Given that both the UK and US recognize dual citizenship, I’ll take advantage of it.

Right, I’m entering my last full week at work. There’s several things I should get done, but I could just stack it. Will I finish off my final duties or skive off my final week?
Finish off and Skive tied with 50% of the votes each from the following:
A split decision. In all fairness, I actually put in a proper week's worth of work. Mostly training as I wanted the credits for my professional certifications, but I did do all the admin stuff I needed to. I have one more working day and I don't have any meetings, so I'm probably not going to do too much on my final day. I have to pack up my laptop and send it back, so I'll probably do that around lunchtime assuming nobody needs me for anything which I doubt they will. Won't be long before I'm long forgotten which is great as it means I did my job right and trained those under me and transitioned everything to them.

And now, the end is near. And so I face, the final curtain. We come to and end of a 30 year career in consulting on Monday. Will I get called from anyone at work this week after Monday?
Yes and No tied with 50% of the votes each from the following:
So, the answer was no, but it was a shutdown week for July 4th, so I’d have been unlikely to get a call even if I was still working. That said, I’m not expecting any calls. It won’t be long now until I’m completely forgotten. I’m sure I’ll go through a phase of being old whatshisname first. Then nothing. Makes me happy just thinking about it. Nobody relying on me or needing me for anything. Sheer bliss!

We’re going to have us a good old fashioned race. This might take a few months before we find the answer, but here goes. On Wednesday, I’ll be submitting an application for a US passport. At the same time I’ll be mailing off my UK passport for renewal. Which passport will I get first?
UK was the clear winner with 60% of the votes from the following selection:
The slight majority going for the UK. Interestingly William's experience has been the opposite, but we shall see. Both the applications were successfully completed and sent this past Wednesday. Neither of them have been expedited so I should get the full experience of each country's full length service.

I treated myself to a new car this week. Traded in the truck for a Ford Explorer. It's sitting on my drive waiting to be fitted with hand controls, so I currently have two cars, neither of which I can drive as the GTR is poorly. The hand controls are supposed to be fitted this week and I'm trying to get a fix for the GTR. How many cars will I have that I can drive at the end of this week?
1 was the clear winner with 50% of the votes from the following selection:
I was rather hopeful that the answer would be 2, but unfortunately, it's 0. The fix I was trying in my car didn't work (to mix in some race fuel) and the hand controls shipped without a bracket, so they now can't be fitted until next week (hopefully).

After the summer break, we return to Formula 1 this coming weekend. There's one big change that's happened over the break, so we ask the all important question. Does Christian Horner's willy smell/taste of ginger or is there another flavor as well?
Another flavor was the clear winner with 100% of the votes from the following selection:
A unanimous decision. Well, there's definitely a rumor isn't there and I'm sure a lot of people are thinking no smoke without fire. Anyway, I guess we'll never know for sure unless something comes out fnarr, fnarr. Oh, maybe you could taste it and let us know.

Let's bring politics back up again. Should the Nation of Rag negotiate a tariff deal with Trump?
Yes and No tied with 50% of the votes each from the following:
A stalemate on the vote, but you should know the great Nation of Rag negotiates with no one.

Another big week on the car front. My car goes in for its smog check this week. Given all the problems I’ve had, I’m a little worried about this. Will my car pass its smog check this week?
Yes was the clear winner with 67% of the votes from the following selection:
So no! It didn't pass its smog this week, but that was largely down to the fact that I didn't take it for its check. I'm still a little worried about one thing that I'm going to fix and then take it in. I have time and I'd rather not have to keep going back if I can avoid it so might as well get it sorted and go from there.

The temperature this week has been just over a million degrees. I was outside for about an hour today with William doing some work on my mini solar project and came in drenched. I also went out on my bike this past Wednesday and nearly didn't make it back because I seemed to be zapped of all energy. Will it cool down enough this week for me to get back out on my bike?
Yes was the clear winner with 75% of the votes from the following selection:
Yes, it did indeed cool down enough for me to go on a bike ride. Given that this is the last full week William is here, I decided to take advantage and tackle the steep hill on my new bike. It went really well, but my elbow was sore for a couple of days afterwards. I've figured out that it's not the strain of moving the bike that's doing it. When I go up the steep part of the hill and just crank away, I'm grabbing the brake with my right hand when my arm is at full stretch. It seems that this action is what's causing the discomfort. So, basically, I'm fine on my bike so long as I don't use the brake. Great given the number of hills there are around here. If you're interested, here's the video proof of the bike ride.
